Getting ready for another long business trip.
Arkeia Software will be exhibiting at Redhat Summit 2009.
After I will be in Mexico City for 3 days for some meetings.
After some time without re-posting my photos to the site, this Saturday morning I’ve re-posted the photos from Bolivia and Peru, from 2006.
It’s really worth looking, 3 years ago the love for the road was growing in side on me.

Training week is over at Carlsbad, tomorrow is time to go home.
I have no doubt that Arkeia is the best backup software available in the market, and we are going to kick some asses in Latin America

Saturday as any of other day of my international trip’s I went to the airport early to try to get one of those emergency exit seats that have no seats in the front so you got lots of extra space for yours legs, I was the first to check-in but even doh, none of those were available, so I’ve got my normal Window seat and try to be happy with that, after watching my team wining and keeping as the only team that have still lost no mach at the national league, I’ve got to the plane seated in my 31A seat and when I was about to get settled I hear:
-Mr Pretto , please follow me , we are changing you from that seat to another one.
-I hope to a better one (said I)
-Well, it’s not worst.
(I’ve got all my stuff and went to my new seat 14 A, and than, Surprise )
I’ve got a business class upgrade , for free, the flight was overbook
I know it might sound silly, but didn’t ever made a international trip in a seat that goes 180o ???? And for free ??? Damn, that was good.
Yeah, so everything went just fine, the video above is the landing in San Diego International Airport.

In two days, I’m going to visit the Headquarters of the company I work for, Arkeia Software, it’s my second visit to uncle Sam, and pretty excited about it.
I’m going to spend a Week in Carlsbad, is there someone available for a couple of coffee Monday Memorial day ? I think I will have the day free. Or maybe a visit to LegoLand?
